earth weekend

we had a great weekend here. friday afternoon, mum took jameson and me up to ggma's since we knew we were going to have a busy weekend and wouldn't make it up there. i got to play in the sandbox for the first time. i even had my shoes off.
saturday morning, gma came over early and dad and mum first went to the farmer's market to get free compost. dad said that you would think they were giving away free money the way everybody was acting. then they had a team meeting for the new cycling team that just started here. 9 women showed up and about 8 will be racing. that gave mum some need motivation to get on her bike. they went for a ride with the team after the meeting and got home around noon. jameson and i spent 4 hours with gma and she said we were really good. we took gma out for pizza then walked to watch the earth day parade. we didn't get any pictures but there were some pretty impressive costumes.
dad went for a long run today. then we went to the beach closest to us to pick up trash with my friends. we found some really gross stuff including dead rodents, birds and fish. the weather couldn't be nicer though, mid 70's with lots of sun. it was so exciting to finally be back at the beach.
dad tricked me into a trailer nap but i really needed it after all that fresh air.
time to go help dad plant some more seeds.
