tag-a-long

yesterday was a big day. we had 13 kids and 9 mums over to our house for a cinco de mayo party. the day before, mum made 10 hot air balloon pinatas and yesterday we decorated them. they were a big hit. we had chips and guacamole, quesadillas, margaritas (sans booze), and brownies. in the afternoon, alex's mum went to get her hair cut so he hung out with us. mum was a little worried at first because we both seemed very tired but it turned out great. we played football, crashed cars, mum read us some books and we chased each other around. mum even got dinner made. grandma came over for a little bit to help between mum going for a bike ride and dad getting home from work. then, to top the day off, i got a new tag-a-long. i LOVE it and can't wait to go for another ride. we're going to get a tandem for mum and dad, i'll be in the tag-a-long, and jameson in the trailer. we're going to call it the schmitty express!
