sunday after lunch, me and dad packed up the trailer with 2 pillows, 2 sleeping bags, 2 pads, some snacks and 1 bumble tent then rode out to glen arbor to camp at dh day. it's about 30 miles from here but with some serious hills along the way made even more serious when dragging a 100lbs trailer. needless to say we went slow, real slow like 13mph average. it was great though. we walked the beach, went on a hike, waited out the rain by eating snacks in the tent, made a campfire and roasted marshmellows to make smores for supper. i had a pretty decent sleep considering how smooshed i was with dad in my little bee tent. we woke up with the sun. jammed everything back into the trailer. rode into glen arbor for coffee and bagels then rode back to tc just in time for dad to go to work. we've got another trip planned if the weather holds out.
apparently mum and jamo didn't miss us as they both had the "best sleep ever". hmmm?
