mum was presenting at a conference so it was dad and the boys all day today. despite the chilly morning we decided to pack me and jameson into the trailer and go for a cookie run. it was fun with lots of pit-stops and the park, caboose, zoo, beach then at the bakery. i got a monster molasses cookie right out of the oven. mmmm. dad says it's a good way to make 8miles feel like 16.
first frost here last night. good thing we pulled all the tomato plants tuesday. dad was kind of depressed but really proud of them as they went nuts all summer. now we've got at least 50 green guys ripening in the laundry room. hopefully they'll do ok.
