biggest one day mountain bike race in the nation right here in TC. who would've thought?
not much ice or snow or cold for that matter as it was just plain beautiful saturday morning. dad raced well despite 2 crashes (both not his fault as he he plowed over top of guys who went down in front of him) resulting in a broken front spoke at mile 10. he finished 2nd in his age group, 11 minutes faster than last year plus he scored me a couple cookies at the finish line. sweet. next year if i can get these training wheels off i'm doing the snow-cone race for sure.
