our downtown theater re-opened this weekend after being closed for several years. it was a pretty big deal. michael moore was the orchestrator of the whole thing. mum and dad say that it's great for the downtown. last night was opening night, and the kite runner had it's premier there. Khaled Hosseini, the author, was in town. today, they had an open house with free popcorn and pop. we went down there and managed to spill popcorn all over the new floors and lose a hat, not bad.
in training news, mum is on the dl for running. it was a beautiful day here. she met rebecca for a nice afternoon run down the boardman trail. she ended up hobbling home with a hip flexor spasm. it's giving her one more excuse to give up running for another 5 years. she says that the bike trainer is looking better and better these days.
