what do you do on the worst snow/freezing rain storm of the year? you drive 15 miles on black ice with white knuckles so dad can do a 5K race. of course that's what you do. at least dad got second thanks to someone that lent him some cleats to attach to his shoes. there was a winter fest going on but unfortunately the turnout wasn't great today due to the weather but there was a petting zoo with a real live huge camel. a zebra. tons of crazy looking goats and sheep. llamas. alpacas. we forgot our camera...bummer.
