busy weekend here for the team:
saturday dad finally got under 1:20 with a 1:18:12 at the bayshore half marathon, good for 6th overall and first in his age group.
sunday mum raced the tour de leelanau, and here with some of the fastest women in the country. seriously fast. dad said she looked great getting over the 21% climb that is tower road. she hung tough and managed to stay ahead of the sweeper car in a solid group of 10 finishing 27th overall and 1st in the nursing mum category.

today we're thoroughly enjoying a family rest day with our first real trip to the beach, naked and all (us boys anyway) as we had the whole secret beach to ourselves. so awesome. that won't last for long though.
happy happy bday to cutie sadie maciura too today. she's 1!
