just back from a weekend up in the U.P. for the superior bike fest. it's a 3 day stage race with a crit, roadrace and then a circuit race on sunday.
mum rode the race of her life at the crit friday night in downtown marquette. she rode away from the pro 1,2,3 field on the last lap and managed to hold on to the finish for the win. it was really exciting to watch especially since she beat all the top michigan riders including those from the top ranked bissell team. she the had a strong road race despite crashing and banging her knee and then did some work for the team sunday but still came in 4th overall on gc.

dad did so-so again and thus has been officially demoted to mum's water boy.
