it's been some solid days of training here for the team lately.
last wednesday was the tc track club 5k on the track and pizza night so we went and watched dad suffer through a painfully slow 5000 then 1 walked a lap then ate 2 pieces of cheese pie. the annual icecream mile is coming up in late august so we'll be heading back to the track soon to practice for that.
friday we ran 8miles with dad in our first cookie run in a long time. jameson and i have greatly improved our trailer behavior so we might be making this a weekly event again.
saturday mum had to work at the hospital (bummer) so me, dad and jamo rode up to suttons bay then over to lake leelanau then back down to tc for a total of 45miles with a pitstop at a coffee shop for a monster cookie.
then to finish the weekend off i went for an easy ride with mum out on the tart trail and back for a total of 70 miles in 2days for me. nice.
friday night is the tour de tart so me and dad will be doing that on the tagalong. we haven't rode more that 10miles on it so he's a tad nervous about finishing the 19 without a meltdown. i think we'll be ok.

Hey Carter and Jamo,

Holy cow are you guys busy and active. That is so awesome! We were hanging out at the lake and dauphin for three weeks and we had a blast. I love the water and so does Oscar. He hunts for rocks

I'm cruising around pretty good now, you could say I'm very close to running.

Hope you guys are keeping cool and I can't wait to see you hopefully sometime soon.

Cheers,

Cousin Anna

ps Dad says you look freakishly like your dad in that picture waving your finger. Did you learn that from him?

Hey Ty,

thanks for the comment! If you're thinking about a rigid fork for your HT, from Naomi's and my experience, the Pace(Now DT Swiss, I s'pose) forks are nice and light. Naomi still has one for her HT just in case we get back out East for Chequamegon again..or some other race. The White Bros. Rock Solid model is also pretty deese(and light), just keep'em away from getting gouged by rocks, otherwise they'll turn into timebombs on ya.

Later,

P
