the iceman MTB race was yesterday. we've had the most beautiful weather here the last week and they were calling for freezing rain. it turned out to be great. dad finished first in this age group/category also being the first of 3200 to cross the finish line. mum finished 3rd in her age group/category. not bad for her first mountain bike race. i did a one mile race where "even the losers got ribbons." today we woke up to snow on the ground...
thanks to grandma for hanging out with jamo all day, rebecca for coming to pick me up and taking me to the finish line, and the aunties for coming over and staying the night so mum and dad could go celebrate the end of a great bike season with their teammates.
