this is my neighbor and best bud lee. he lives across the alley from us. we've been building a snow fort and put in about 6 hours outside this weekend. today it was 40 degrees and tons of snow melted. mum was bummed 'cause she couldn't go skiing. dad was psyched to run in a little warmer temps.
dad has been able to run again and is much less grumpy. we went out for pizza friday night to celebrate. things are looking up around our house.
it supposed to get brutal cold the next couple of days. not quite as cold as calgary. makes chicago look like the tropics, eh, uncle tannin?
the exciting news this week was getting mum and dads time off work approved. we'll be heading out for tucson february 20th. only 10 weeks to go...

Ah yes - the -38C with wind chill last night, and not being able to get up the driveway because it's covered in ice and snow ... good times. Makes me miss the Tropics of Illinois. Thankfully, I"ll be down there for New Years :)
Glad to hear everybody is happy & healthy. I have yet to crash and/or lose fingers speed skating.
Another fun fact, the day you leave for Tucson is the day I leave for WEEK in Vegas (for some work, and some play). Giddy Up.
