busy weekend here. dad's buddy matt came to town from nyc to join the camp. he's weird in a nice way. then we had a little get together here at our home away from home. enchiladas. root beer floats. bailey. excellent.
we also have some friends, isaac and izabelle, in from colorado. been hitting the park with them a bunch and getting my starwars/lightsaber/battle/shooting/warship thing going.
training camp finally seems to be wearing on mum and dad. they no longer seem so eager to go and ride every morning. dad just says he's going to work and will be back in 3hrs but i know he's just out on the bike. 20hrs each for both of them last week with a ride to the top of mt lemmon at 9000ft elevation over 26miles of pristine climbing. check this article out at cyclingnews.com as to why tucson is the endurance athlete's training mecca here.
