the racing season has come to an end. mum, dad, jamo and i all raced the iceman yesterday. the race was dubbed "the niceman" instead of the iceman because it was the nicest day we've had all fall with mid 60's temps. jamo was even going around shirtless during the race. mum and dad both came in 1st in their age division. dad raced expert 30-34 and mum raced expert 35-44. jamo and i both raced the sno cone and got super cool medals. thanks to grandpa, granny sarah and aunties for letting us stay at their house friday night so mum and dad could get up early and race without extra stress. it was a long day leaving the house at 7am and not getting home until 8pm after the awards ceremony. it was pretty warm in the banquet hall hence the still shirtless jamo. he went up on stage in front of everybody looking like that. crazy dad is racing a cyclocross race this morning "for fun." the rest of us are hanging out in our jammies re-grouping.
