can you believe it's already the end of may? time for the bayshore races again. dad did the 10k and managed to sneak under 35min for the first time albeit just barely. he came in 4th. due to poor info, me and mum missed the kids run which was a bummer as i've been training and was ready to finish this year.
then later in the afternoon we went out to one of mum and dad's teammates for a bbq. it was great. lots of toys and kids and yummy food and cookies. not to mention lots of skinny white guys with shaved legs and girls with funny tan lines.
mum's return to work has been smooth. jameson and i have been real good for dad. we've been working hard on the garden, it's coming slowly. almost have it all planted now. greens, tomatoes, peas, carrots, cucumbers and peppers.
breaking news: just heard that layne and jenn had a baby girl. "8 pounder" says layne. no name yet though. good job guys!!
