what a weekend! friday night, auties norah and flannery came over and we walked down to friday night live. it was a harry potter theme with lots of people sticking around 'til midnight to get the book. we were not one of those. saturday morning at half past butt-crack-o-dawn, mum and dad went for a bike ride. lucky for them, grandma is also an early bird and agreed to come watch jameson and me. dad made it 100 miles with the 4 others that showed up that early and mum made it 15 miles with them and another 45 on her own. more biking sunday morning for mum and dad then we headed to the beach for some family time and then a surprise trip to wuerful field for a tc beachbums baseball game. it was awesome. terrible pitching makes for an exciting game. almost 4hours later: 21 runs, 25 hits, 12-9 bums.
then monday, still the weekend for mum, we all drove out to glen lake for some fun in the sun at a cottage that my friend jp and his family are renting for the week. curly and his mum showed up, too. the highlight was the ski-doo ride...so much fun! dad rode home and went to work and we got back in time for mum to do the monday night ride. thanks jp and miss laurie for lots of fun.
