no computer, bummer!

a few weeks ago, the monitor on our computer started acting funny. mum took it in and now we've been going through internet withdrawls. we've been having lots of fun and have tons of pictures but we'll have to wait to get our computer back to put them on the blog. mum has found a spot outside that our old dell can pick up a signal so she's keeping her fingers crossed that we'll get this entry done before we get disconnected.
i'm helping mum remember what we've been doing the last week. curly came over for a play date. he's 1/2 canadian too so of course we played hockey. i ran the half pint half mile. i ran two laps around the track without stopping then ate an entire half pint of strawberry ice cream, again, without stopping. mum and dad were impressed with both! that was thursday. friday was jp's birthday. his parents had a bonfire to celebrate. we had cake, ice cream, then made s'mores. i was up 'til 10 with a great big sugar buzz. we had a blast. mum and dad rode saturday morning. grandma came and got jamo and me and took us back to her house. nana and papa were here visiting from florida. i haven't seen them since i was 5 months old. after mum got home, we went up to the suttons bay art fair and then stopped at a petting zoo on our way home. mum and dad went to the tc film fest that night for their first date night in who knows how long, and just their luck, they picked to worst movie of the festival...by far. if you ever have the chance to see "day night day night", DON'T! mum says, "even in someone offers to pay you to go see it, DON'T". mum said is was like watching paint dry or grass grow. she says she's never had a root canal but she's pretty sure that it's less painful than that movie. i guess it was pretty bad. sunday, we had two great grandma's, one great grandpa, one great uncle, and one grandma over for lunch. i was pretty excited. today, i was supposed to go to an arts and crafts thing a pathfinder school but it was canceled so mum and i went shopping instead. mum has been doing lots of shopping for furniture lately. i think dad is sick of looking at fabric swatches.
we're hoping to get our computer back soon and we'll post some video of my race and pictures of everything else.
