earth day tomorrow. doing our part by planting 21 trees/bushes over the weekend. 10 white cedars, 1 white spruce and 10 juneberry bushes. hopefully we have a better survival rate then last year when only 25% made it. dad feels extra-special responsible for that but he says these guys will do better cause we're not leaving for a month in june this year.
tomorrow we'll be back at 'er again cause our fruit trees came via brown truck. 3 dwarf apples, honeycrisp, gala and golden d. plus a dwarf peach of some sort with some asparagus and rhubarb roots thrown in to start our patches.
i ate my first whole apple today. core, seeds and all. dad was proud. his old boss from cartwright, manitoba showed him how to do it. cheers for jackie.
that's all for now.
