"kind of a rainy day, eh?", i yelled from the porch to some neighbors as they walked by. we're feeling the remnants of hurricane ike way up here in northern michigan. crazy eh? good for the garden but bad for bike rides and trips to the park. it hasn't been bad though, rode down to the bookstore with dad so he could test out his new raingear. i was toasty and dry in the chariot and then i beat him in "sorry". nice.
jameson is up to 5 words officially adding apple and mamma to his repertoire.
mum continues to put in some big miles in preparation for this weeks crit here in tc. i've been also "getting my sprint on".
dad got a new mountain bike so that's all he talks about.

saw the ad for your t.v. but mom put the kabosh on us trying to get it from you. we've turned into a non-tv home since may...mom loves it! we get to watch the occasional movie on the mac. she says we're changed kids since no tv (no more whining for the tv, cuz there is nothing to whine about). are you getting a new tv or giving it up all together? good luck!-makinley and devin
we did the may to september with no tv and it was so nice that it's gone for good!
That is wonderful! We got rid of our cable...step one. Did it really make a huge difference in your life? Keeping any kid movies for on a computer? Tell me, tell me!
ya we don't have cable either, not because we don't want it... i miss the news and CSI but we're cheap. And when living in Rossland BC there's no reason to sit inside.... well except that its big time bear season!
