couple snow flakes this morning! summer here is officially over but it is october, the nights have gotten chilly so we've had the wood stove going which has been nice and cozy, the leaves are starting to turn too and we've had to get the mitts and tuques out for our bike rides to school in the mornings, our first hard frost last night killed off all the tomato and squash plants for good which isn't so bad as i'm not sure if i can stomach another zucchini
dad did his 2nd cyclocross race last night under the lights at timber ridge, we went and watched and had a blast, he needs to practice his barrier technique a wee bit as he seems to have a hard time staying off the dirt...
