meet petunia (aka "tuna" in jamo talk). the newest memeber of team schmitty. she was the guinea pig of a friend of a sister of a friend and is now ours. we're very excited to have her! welcome to the schmidt house tuna. hope you like it a little bit on the chilly side.

Tuna is a cute nickname. Let us know if you have questions. The more you (the kids!) handle her the more friendly she will become. Ours will come to the door of the cage when opened and "begs" (squeaks) for food when we open the fridge. Give her carrots and/or oranges so she gets her vitamin c. And a lot of water. The bad news is that the more she eats, the more she poops! :-)
